As you can see below, we had a peanut and a pink poodle for Halloween!
Well, we thought it was time for a little update since the girls have just witnessed history. We want to acknowledge the fact that both girls were witness to their very first United States Presidential Election, and have seen the first African American President be elected. History! Just a little commemoration here on our blog, because by the time they are in school they will be reading this in their history books.
Jordyn surprises us every day. Her newest "thing" is socks. She refuses to wear plain colored socks, and really only wants her Ariel (the little mermaid) socks. We could not for the life of us find them other than the one pair she had and finally found Hello Kitty which she is very happy with. Then this weekend we actually found some more Ariel socks and bought a bunch of Disney character socks for her size now and the next size, so hopefully we are covered! And, we don't know where she came up with this one, but she was not going to sleep like she was supposed to last night and when Aaron went in to check on her she actually pretended like she was sleeping! She quickly laid down and closed her eyes when Aaron came in and was very still. She is too funny. We also caught a great sister moment this week and just had to post it. We know this won't last forever so we thought we'd commemorate this happy sister moment. Plus, you get to hear Jordyn talking some and Hayden laughing.
